The Lakes Distillery have in recent years released single malt whiskies in two series: “The Editions” and “The Whiskymaker’s Reserve”. The “Whiskymaker’s Reserve” series is the heart and core of the whisky production at the distillery with a heavy sherry influence, whilst the Editions have been released to demonstrate the capability of the distillery to explore the artistic nature if the whisky making and blending process.

Complex and bold, fragrant and fascinating, this tempting single malt is the product of creative rebellion, inspired by a deep curiosity to push the boundaries of flavour creation. TASTING NOTES
The palate offers notes of Turkish Delight, sugared rose petals, stewed peaches, earthy cocoa beans, apple pie and vanilla clotted cream that linger in the finish.
About The Lakes
Originally founded by Paul Currie, the Lakes Distillery is situated in the Lake District (as the name would suggest) as part of a converted old Victorian cattle farm and it takes its inspiration from the stunning landscape that surrounds it. The technology and hardware are state-of-the-art but the methods are as traditional as always in what they call a “holistic whisky making” process.
