The latest release from Gordon & Macphail owned distillery, Cairn. 

Gordon & Macphail have a plethora of great spirits in cask and are now bottling many of these to produce blended malts like this. The youngest single malt in this is 40 years of age and some liquid in side of it even older. 

TASTING NOTES

Aroma: Rich Sherry with cinnamon and nutmeg, beeswax polish, dried fruits and orange peel.

Taste: Smooth and sweet. Dried tobacco, citrus and charred oak. Stewed apple, walnut and spicy pepper.

Finish: Nutty, with mature oak and roasted cofee beans.

Nestled in the Cairngorms National Park, The Cairn is a new place where adventure and whisky lovers can explore and be inspired by the best that Scotland has to offer.

Founded in 2022, the first single malts from the distillery will not be marketed for a few years. However, with the know-how of Gordon & MacPhail and the richness of its cellars, the CRN57° range was able to see the light of day. A real projection of what the 12 year old, 25 year old, 30 year old, 57 year old and 70 year old will be, it is a taste journey imagined by Stuart Urquhart and his teams who will take you on a journey with this range of Blended Malt Scotch Whisky through the valleys of Speyside.
