From the heavily smoky Bunnahabhain Staoisha , to the intense mahogany-toned Ben Nevis , and the 12-year-old single malt from Royal Brackla , a distillery that primarily produces blends, to the wonderfully dark Glenlivet from 2006: all of the single malts in the series, bottled exclusively for Kirsch Import, were matured or finished in sherry butts . In keeping with the fighting spirit of their namesakes, the Samurai single malts unfold their dark aromas at cask strengths of up to 62.1% ABV.
